The U.S. Navy says that an American cargo ship working for it opened fire on Egyptian boats while going through the Suez Canal. Egyptian authorities say one person died and two were injured.
Egyptian naval and security authorities said that when a small motor boat approached the "Global Patriot" after dark Monday to sell it cigarettes and other products, someone on the ship opened fire, killing one person and injuring two others.
