Is Our Lady suggesting a date in the last message from Her apparitions in Anguera, given exactly on Easter? (in Maceio, AL, Brazil - the apparition occurs wherever the visionary Pedro is at the moment. There are previous messages given in Paris, Italy and Jerusalem).
In previous messages Our Lady warns there will be an attack on the Church, particularly in Rome, and the Holy Father would need to flee the palace - Vatican. The men who will attack the pope, are the men with "big beards", the men followers of the one "against Christ" who will bring suffering to all Europe, the followers of the "false prophet". The survivors in Rome will be few, many consecrated persons will be killed. She said "on a majestic date the church will weep." Majestic date - a big religious feast? After Easter and Christmas, the next important one is the Assumption (Aug 15), and then St Peter and Paul (June 29), the state holiday of the State of Vatican. Now in the message on Easter Our Lady speaks about Lunar Eclipse. The next lunar eclipse this year is on August 16 2008. There isn't any other lunar eclipse until 2009. August 16 partial lunar eclipse
All that is from the messages given in Anguera. What is the connection with the secrets confident in Medjugorje? We will try to outline only our personal view. First, we accept the secrets in Medjugorje as events concerning the whole world, regardless of who believes or not (as they are said to be). Therefore, we do not accept them simply as something local, something personal up to the interpretation of some local people. As we know Fr Petar will have the heavy duty to announce the secrets TO THE WORLD. The duty is so difficult that requires the strength of a strong, zealous priest, not the calmness of the visionaries.
In Anguera there are 5 confident events concerning the whole world. After that Our Lady will not appear anymore on Earth. There will be a big sign - a cross in Heaven, cross of fire to be seen by everybody in Brazil - (Brazil is a country with territory almost as big as the USA). In Medjugorje first 2 secrets are connected with Medjugorje region (we wrote about) followed by the Great Sign; followed by secrets 4,5,6 that some Medjugorje writers think they concern the Church. Of course we can't be sure in advance. As we know, 7th is lessened, while 8,9,10 are progressively grave, leading to complete change on Earth. In Anguera Our Lady speaks about gravitational changes and a celestial body to come (comet?). Medjugorje and Anguera both indicate the end of an era. In both apparitions Our Lady promises the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart to come. We think the secrets 6-10 said in Medjugorje are the same as the 5 said in Anguera. They are world events. There are older prophecies that speak of these last events. We posted some of them. One old prophecy of St Hildegard speaks of a comet to hit a very wealthy nation...The prophecies in the Old Testament speak about that time too. The Holy Father spoke last year about the prophet Daniel and Apocalypse that are being fulfilled in our times.
Will it be a nuclear attack on Rome? We think, yes. How would that fit into the secrets' schedule, the way we know it? That could be one secret between 4 and 7. That means the first 2 warnings in Medjugorje and the Great Sign should have taken place by that time. Now Our Lady indicates a date about the attack on Rome. Does it mean the Great Sign will happen before that date, i.e. this Spring or Summer? We do not know. 9/11 wasn't in any secrets, yet Our Lady was the saddest ever. We pray and hope to be prepared enough and to Help Our Lady's plan by our little prayers.
